Orca Bunker - 3D Enviorment

The Orca Bunker is a stylized 3D environment commissioned by a fictional eccentric millionaire with a lifelong obsession with marine life. The Orca Bunker blends the atmosphere of an aquarium with the architecture of a secure bunker — artificial skies and sand dunes evoke a tidal marsh above, while live marine animals occupy maintained tanks and boardwalk pools below.

The concept draws directly from the entrance of the Long Island Aquarium, a space that left a strong impression early on and has shaped a lot of the marine and liminal-space imagery in my work since.

The scene includes modular and hero assets, hand-painted and PBR textures, and stylized cohesive lighting. Modeling, UV unwrapping, and texturing were completed in Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. Final rendering and lighting were done in Unreal Engine 5, including a custom water shader built in UE5's material editor.
